While McCormick & Schmick's has been recognized for its culinary excellence as the "best seafood restaurant" in cities across the country, the restaurant also has become equally famous for its bar menu with items starting at $1.95, featuring hummus and pita ($1.95), a half-pound cheeseburger ($2.95), chicken quesadilla ($3.95) pulled pork sliders, buffalo wings or steamed mussels ($4.95) and more.
It's a happy hour that's MADE for money-poor but knowledge-rich student teachers!

ReplyDeleteCan someone construct a 4' x 2' wooden bridge that we could plop down in the bar on Tuesday so that you all can have the joy of "crossing over" to the other side (also known as the "bridging ceremony")? I just don't have time to build a bridge between now and Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteOnce we have the bridge ready to go (and I'm sure they won't mind at McCormick & Schmick's), I'll ask you each to walk across where I'll greet you on the other side (the good side, btw).
Then, we're going to light candles and sing a song (Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" in 8 part harmony) and our ceremony will come to a close when we all do a shot of Wite-Out to bond us together for life. It coats your digestive system forever, helping you to stomach all the crap that threatens to rain on your magical existence. I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteI am so excited! And I really thought Wite-Out was the name of some brodude shot I missed out on in my bar-going days. And if it isn't one yet, I believe we must rise to the challenge, and we must make this happen.
